High-Density Racking

What is push back racking?

Push back racking stores pallets 2 to 4 deep on nested carts that run on inclined rails. Loading a pallet pushes the others back; removing the front pallet lets the next one roll forward. It gives more density than selective racking with faster access than drive-in.

Order quantities, lead time and delivery

There is no fixed minimum order. Full 20 ft or 40 ft containers give the lowest cost per bay, and mixed loads of racking, shelving and accessories are common. Typical lead time is 3 to 5 weeks production plus 5 to 7 weeks sea freight to a UK port, then delivery to your site; your quote confirms the dates. See lead times and delivery.

Samples and documents

We can send sample sections, such as a beam end and an upright offcut, so you can check profile and finish. Sample cost and courier are quoted by our sales team. Each order ships with our load tables, and test reports are available on request; see quality and standards.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need special forklifts?

No, standard counterbalance or reach trucks can load push back racking.

How many SKUs per lane?

One SKU per lane, since pallets come out in reverse order.
