Pallet Racking

What are pallet racking upright frames?

Pallet racking upright frames are the vertical sides of each bay: two perforated uprights joined by horizontal and diagonal bracing. Frames are specified by height, depth and section, and the section is chosen from the load on the frame and the height to the first beam level.

Order quantities, lead time and delivery

There is no fixed minimum order. Full 20 ft or 40 ft containers give the lowest cost per bay, and mixed loads of racking, shelving and accessories are common. Typical lead time is 3 to 5 weeks production plus 5 to 7 weeks sea freight to a UK port, then delivery to your site; your quote confirms the dates. See lead times and delivery.

Samples and documents

We can send sample sections, such as a beam end and an upright offcut, so you can check profile and finish. Sample cost and courier are quoted by our sales team. Each order ships with our load tables, and test reports are available on request; see quality and standards.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the upright section?

It depends on the total load on the frame, the beam levels and the height to the first beam. Send your pallet weights and level heights and we size the section.

Are frames delivered assembled?

For container economy most frames ship flat-packed with bolts; assembled frames can be quoted for smaller orders.
