What is medium duty cantilever racking?

Cantilever racking stores long and awkward items on arms fixed to a central column, with no front uprights in the way. Medium duty systems suit tubes, profiles and timber lengths in workshops, stores and trade counters.

Order quantities, lead time and delivery

There is no fixed minimum order. Full 20 ft or 40 ft containers give the lowest cost per bay, and mixed loads of racking, shelving and accessories are common. Typical lead time is 3 to 5 weeks production plus 5 to 7 weeks sea freight to a UK port, then delivery to your site; your quote confirms the dates. See lead times and delivery.

Frequently asked questions

How far apart should the columns be?

The rule of thumb is that the load should span at least three columns, overhanging no more than half the column spacing at each end.
